Here, KSR in Bangalore railway stands for Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna.  This station was inaugurated in the year 1968This railway station has 10 platforms and is located across from Kempegowda bus station. It is one of the busing Southwestern Railway stations. The station is operated by the South Western Railway zone of Indian Railways.The station code is SBC

The important train of this railway station at  Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat, Kacheguda-Mysuru Express, Miraj Rani Chennamma Express, Karnataka Express, Bangalore, Island Express, Lal Bagh Express, Express, Chennai Shatabdi Express, Rajdhani Express, Brindavan Express, Humsafar Express, Wodeyar Express,  Duronto Express.

Let’s talk about the entrance part of the railway station.  The Eastern side consists main entrance of the station.  There is a subway to go to the bus station. One can walk and go to Kempegowda bus station from here.  It walks takes 10 minutes to reach the railway station to the bus stop.

If your train departs from platform numbers 8,9.10 then you should go to the back gate that is on the northwestern side.

Built in 1864, Bangalore Cantonment Railway Station is a busy station and is a major stop for many express trains. The station is small and has only 4 platforms. The station is well connected with all parts of the city through BMTC buses and auto-rickshaws.

The station provides easy access to tourist attractions like Cubbon Park, Vidhan Soudha, Bangalore Palace, and Lal Bagh.  Apart from its main entrance at Brigade Road, it has entrances at Doddanekkundi Circle and Mosque Road. There are two refreshment rooms on the first floor – one near Platform 1, and another near Platform 2. It is best advised not to carry valuables while coming here because it can be unsafe sometimes.

Yesvantpur Junction Bangalore

The station code is YPR. It is one of the key railway stations in Bangalore city. The station has 6 platforms and it resides in the Yasvantpur locality. This station was created to reduce crowds at Bangalore city railway station. It is a junction between the lines from Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, etc,  

 The station offers a range of facilities such as food stalls, waiting rooms, and ATM facilities. There are also a few shopping kiosks that offer daily necessities. The station has an excellent parking lot. It is one of the best railway stations in Bangalore and is a great place to explore the city from.

Lottegollahalli Railway Station

The station code is Logh. There are only 2 platforms at Lottegollahalli Railway Station. Mahatma Gandhi Road Metro Station, MG Road Metro Station, Trinity Metro Station, Whitefield Metro Station, and Ujwala Vidyalaya Metro Station are the nearest metro station to Lottegollahalli Railway Station. This railway line falls under the South Western Railway zone.
